Sickness With Less Support
You get sick a lot as a parent, and you have a lot less opportunities to rest and recover. Without a village, this is heightened, with less people checking in or able to physically help even when everyone is feeling a bit better. This piece explores how impactful common illnesses can be when you don't have an external support network to rely on.
